This is my second recumbent, my first was the sun EZ-1 which my wife rides now. I love this bike, easy to ride, relaxing can go for unlimited miles. Wish there were more accessorys. I did get a ram iPhone holder for Imapmyride. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a recumbent.

I ride this on weekends 50 – 100 miles. It is comfortable, quick and quiet. With many adjustable components it is easily taylored to fit anyone. I don’t like putting a metal triangle carrying device on the rear wheel so I would like to have a customized bag for the back seat attachment. Similar to handle bar size and weight. Highly recommend this bike for anyone with back problems that can’t ride long distances on a standard bike.

The Pedal proudly carries Sun Bicycles. The Sun Bicycle company specializes in building high-quality, recumbent bicycles.

A recumbent bicycle is a bike that places the rider in a laid-back “reclining” position. The advantage of a recumbent bicycle is that it more ergonomic; providing a more comfortable riding position than traditional bikes. But don’t be fooled by the comfort, a recumbent bicycle currently holds the world’s speed record for a bicycle!

If riding a recumbent is easy and comfortable, then riding a recumbent trike is even better. With a recumbent trike, the rider gets the comfort and mechanical pedaling advantage along with the stability and confidence a trike brings. “I had good control while riding down the street. After the third time up and down the street I thought: “Yeah baby, this is wonderful and I’m hooked!” exclaimed an excerpt from Recumbent & Tandem Rider Magazine.

“All things considered, I do think the trike is a good value for anyone interested in riding for recreation, fitness, or commuting,” said BentRider magazine, a publication devoted to recumbent bicycles.

The Tomahawk:

Cutting edge monotube frame design optimizes aerodynamic profile of rider and bike resulting in reduced drag and increasing overall aerodynamics. Additionally it takes out a great deal of road vibration so all you feel is a silky smooth ride. Only after a long day in the saddle will you truly realize the inherent benefits of the monotube design.

This recumbent is well suited for long distance road touring and the every day rigors of commuting.
